Starting on our stunning beaches with Miles of open space, the only Desert in Europe and our Mountainsides.
Beach Route-Short
Beach Route-Short
Here we get to ride on the Beach of the Natural Park of Punta Entinas. This Beach is always quiet and extends for 13 Miles. Who would like to Canter can do so and we then approach the old Salt Lakes that go back to the XI century during the Arab era, but the use of Salt here goes back to a Century before Christ. Here we can see many birds like Flamingos, Cormorants, Ducks, etc...
We offer a 1 hour or a 2 hour ride.
Desert of Tabernas
This is the only Desert in Europe, known for the filming of Spaguetti Westerns, Indiana Jones, Exodus, Game of Thrones 6th Season and many more. Actors like Henry Fonda, Clint Eastwood, Charles Bronson have been filmed here. Such incredible scenery, one has the feeling that the Indians or the 7th of Cavalry will appear around the next corner.

From the stables, going through dry river beds we approach the mountain range and get on the tracks that have been used for centuries, after many adventures we enter the village of Felix where we have Lunch in a typical Spanish Restaurant and then gradually come down by mid-afternoon so you have plenty of time to enjoy your evening.
Beach Route-Long
We start off at the light house of Sabinal in the nature reserve of Punta Entinas, then ride through a natural area of lower bush meditarreanean flora towards the beach, we follow the extensive beach where we get to gallop several time, visit a lake towards the west with plenty of wild birds like Flamingos, etc..., at several points we go deeply into the Nature park that has areas of sand dunes that have been explored very little. We get to visit the defensive tower of Punta Entinas, that goes back to the XIV century although the actual construction was built in the XVI. This was to defend the coast from Pirates, like many a long the whole coast, when a pirate ship was seen, a fire was lit to alert the next tower and to get the population to go in land.

We go to a village nicknamed as Aguas Calientes because this is the name used in the movie a "A Fistful of Dollars" and used many times after by the Director Sergio Leone for his Western films. We get to ride through this landscape, Visit an old Country house where a historical event happened called "Cortijo del Fraile" mentioned in the book "Bodas de Sangre" also a film was made about this. We go to the top of a mountain range facing the Sea where we can see an old Gold mine in Rodalquilar. We can have lunch in a Spanish Restaurant. Covered in Posters and Photos from each of the films, even the TV is playing these films not stop!!
Mountains over Night
From the stables we enter dry river beds and finally get onto tracks that will take us upto around 1200 metres above the sea level, direction Sierra Nevada, at the end of the day our back bags are brought up with tents, we will stay the night in the middle of the mountains enjoying a meal, viewing the Stars, and feeling closer to nature. The best way to chillout from todays rat race. We will go through Pine tree woods, dry river beds, Natural Springs and enjoy the spectacular view towards the coast.
